Seit 2019 wird weltweit am 25. Oktober, dem Geburtstag der Komponisten Georges Bizet und Johann B. Strauss (Sohn), der WORLD OPERA DAY begangen. Im Format OPER AM KLAVIER bringt das Theater Regensburg zum diesjährigen WORLD OPERA DAY Highlights aus der Spielzeit 24/25 zu Gehör. Das Publikum wird in die Klangwelten von Verdi, Puccini, Wagner und Valtinoni entführt.
Am WORLD OPERA DAY, den 25. Oktober, entführen Mitglieder des Musiktheaterensembles das Publikum um 19:30 Uhr im Neuhaussaal in die Klangwelten von Verdi, Puccini, Wagner und Valtinoni – am Klavier begleitet von John Spencer und Paolo Troian.
Oper mit dem Musiktheaterensemble
Erstmals besteht die Möglichkeit, Arien aus der Regensburger Uraufführung DER KLEINE PRINZ von Pierangelo Valtinoni live zu hören und einen Vorgeschmack auf die Premiere am Samstag, den 09. November, zu bekommen. Durch den Abend führt Ronny Scholz.
Der internationale Welttag der Oper ist ein Tag, an dem Opernliebhaber/innen und Opernprofis gemeinsam der über 400 Jahre alten Kunstform „Oper“ huldigen und sie vor allem in sehr unterschiedlichen Ansätzen dem Publikum präsentieren.
