Die Polizei entdeckte in Regensburg eine größere Menge an Waffen – darunter Maschinengewehre, Messer und auch Degen. Der Besitzer ist bereits polizeibekannt.
Im Rahmen einer polizeilichen Durchsuchung fanden Beamte der Polizeiinspektion Regensburg Nord am 11. November bei einem Mann aus dem Stadtnorden eine größere Menge an Waffen und weitere Gegenstände, welche dem Waffenrecht unterliegen. Der Regensburger Sammler hatte die Waffen allesamt auf dem Dachboden aufbewahrt.
Sondergruppe hinzugezogen
Um festzustellen, ob von den Waffen eine akute Gefahr ausgeht, wurden während der Durchsuchung zusätzlich Fachkräfte der Kriminalpolizei Regensburg, der Stadt Regensburg sowie eine Technische Sondergruppe hinzu gezogen.
Landeskriminalamt eingeschaltet
Unter den beschlagnahmten Gegenständen befinden sich unter anderem Maschinengewehre aus den Weltkriegen sowie eine große Anzahl an Gewehren, Degen und Bajonette. Einige der Waffen werden nun durch das Landeskriminalamt in München einer Untersuchung unterzogen, um festzustellen, ob es sich um scharfe Waffen oder Deko-Waffen handelt. Gegen den Mann bestand bereits in der Vergangenheit ein Waffenbesitzverbot.
