In der Oberpfalz rufen Betrüger derzeit immer wieder Bürger an und geben vor, Bankmitarbeiter zu sein. So erlangten diese auch Zugang zum Online-Konto eines 62-jährigen Regensburgers und erbeuteten einen fünfstelligen Eurobetrag von ihm. Die Polizei warnt vor dieser Masche und gibt Tipps, wie man sich in dieser Situation verhalten sollte.
Wie die Polizei mitteilte, kommt es in der Oberpfalz derzeit vermehrt zu Anrufen von angeblichen Bankmitarbeitern. Diese erlangen so Zugriff zum Online-Konto des Angerufenen. Auf diese Weise erbeuteten unbekannte Täter auch einen fünfstelligen Eurobetrag von einem 62-Jährigen aus Regensburg. Bei einer dieser Betrugs-Varianten wird der Angerufene aufgefordert, eine Fernwartungssoftware zu installieren, sodass es dem Anrufer dann möglich wird, mit Hilfe des Angerufenen – aber ohne dessen wirkliche Einwilligung – Verfügungen auf dessen Konto vorzunehmen. Alternativ kommt es vor, dass der Geschädigte selbst die Überweisungsfreigabe mittels „Push-TAN“ durchführt.
Anruf einer angeblichen Bankmitarbeiterin
So erhielt auch ein 62-jähriger Regensburger im November einen Anruf von einer vermeintlichen Bankmitarbeiterin. Die Anruferin gab vor, dass jemand missbräuchlich versuche, auf das Konto des 62-Jährigen zuzugreifen. Um das zu verhindern, sollte der 62-jährige Mann ein Fernwartungsprogramm herunterladen und sich anschließend ins Online-Banking einloggen. Währenddessen erlangte die bislang unbekannte Täterin einen fünfstelligen Eurobetrag, indem sie mit dem Zugriff durch die Fernwartungssoftware eine Überweisung vornahm.
Zielgruppe dieses Vorgehens sind nach derzeitigen Erkenntnissen Personen, die sich sicher im Internet bewegen und Internet-Banking, auch in Verbindung mit dem Smartphone, verwenden.
Tipps der Polizei
Die Polizei Oberpfalz rät:
- Geben Sie auf keinen Fall private Daten, zum Beispiel Bankkonto- oder Kreditkartendaten oder Zugangsdaten zu Kundenkonten (etwa PayPal) heraus.
- Gewähren Sie einem unbekannten Anrufer niemals Zugriff auf Ihren Rechner beispielsweise mit der Installation einer Fernwartungssoftware.
- Lassen Sie Ihren Rechner überprüfen und das Fernwartungsprogramm auf Ihrem Rechner löschen.
- Nehmen Sie Kontakt zu den Zahlungsdiensten und Unternehmen auf, deren Zugangsdaten in den Besitz der Täter gelangt sind.
- Lassen Sie sich von Ihrem Geldinstitut beraten, ob Sie bereits getätigte Zahlungen zurückholen können.
- Erstatten Sie Anzeige bei der Polizei.
