Insbesondere seit den Angriffen der Terrororganisation Hamas auf Israel am 07. Oktober 2023 hat sich die Relevanz einer gesellschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit Antisemitismus in all seinen Ausprägungen weiter verdeutlicht. Daher lädt die OTH Regensburg im Wintersemester 2024/25 zur Veranstaltungsreihe „Aspekte des Antisemitismus“ ein.
Im Wintersemester 2024/25 lädt die OTH Regensburg unter der Schirmherrschaft des Vizepräsidenten Prof. Dr. Oliver Steffens und des Vizepräsidenten und Antisemitismusbeauftragten Prof. Dr. Christoph Skornia zur Veranstaltungsreihe „Aspekte des Antisemitismus“, welche unter der konzeptionellen Leitung von Prof. Dr. Martina Ortner in Zusammenarbeit mit der Servicestelle Gleichstellung und Vielfalt entstand.
Einblicke in die Dimensionen und Formen des Antisemitismus
Die politischen und gesellschaftlichen Debatten weltweit und in Deutschland zeigen, dass antisemitisches Gedankengut in allen Gesellschaftsschichten und politischen Lagern - oft versteckt - anzutreffen ist. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe geben verschiedene Expertinnen und Experten Einblicke in die Dimensionen und Formen des Antisemitismus. Die OTH Regensburg möchte somit ein Bildungsangebot über und gegen Jüdinnen- und Judenhass für alle Interessierten schaffen.
Den Auftakt bildet die Veranstaltung „Antisemitismus und Psychoanalyse – Projektion und kritische Selbstbesinnung‘“ am Donnerstag, den 24. Oktober, ab 18:00 Uhr. Referentin ist Prof. Dr. Christine Kirchhoff von der International Psychoanalytic University Berlin. Der Vortrag untersucht die Psychodynamik des Antisemitismus, erläutert diese an aktuellen Beispielen aus Medien und von Demonstrationen und stellt die Frage, was heute unter der „kritischen Selbstbesinnung“ zu verstehen sein könnte.
Die Abschlussveranstaltung am Donnerstag, den 23. Januar 2025, findet in Kooperation mit der Stadt Regensburg im Runtingersaal (Keplerstraße 1, 93047 Regensburg) statt.
